Question: Who Pays For The Renovations on Kitchen Nightmares?

If you’ve watched Kitchen Nightmares, I’m sure you’ve noticed that sometimes Gordon Ramsay does a ton of work on the restaurants featured on the show. I’m talking about new expensive point of sale systems, new tables, new ovens and stuff. All of that adds up to a hefty price tag sometimes.

So who’s actually opening up their checkbook to cover this? Is Gordon Ramsay paying? Or is the restaurant owner paying? The answer is neither!

So who pays for the renovations on Kitchen Nightmares?

All of the renovation expenses are paid by the Kitchen Nightmares production team. According to Lindsay Kugler, one of the executive producers on the show, “Kitchen Nightmares’ mission is to help participating restaurants get back on their feet. All of Gordon Ramsay’s advice to restaurant owners is provided free of charge and the restaurant renovations are paid for by the series.”

So there you have it – restaurant owners don’t need to pay anything for Gordon’s advice or for the renovations.

Remember – we keep track of how Gordon’s advice and renovations paid off for all of the restaurants featured on Kitchen Nightmares.

    • I’ve Just Started watching This program 8am every morning, and I love it. These are Very old one’s repeats my son said. But I love them. I’ve never ever wanted to see Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares, as what I saw advertised, he was swearing badly, I am 71-yrs young and thought I’m not listening to that rubbish. But there’s none of that on These the odd word, But he’s so helpful, and revamps in their premises I love keep it on for me yes!!!!!!!! Go Gordon 🍽️☕🤗🤗

  1. Although Jamie Oliver is the wealthiest chef in the world, the work that Gordon Ramsay does should qualify him for an OBE
He would certainly get my vote.
He can turn what most people think is a complex dish, achievable to cooks/chefs all over the world.

  2. He is an inspiration for every restaurant in the world. A lot of his programs set examples of the importance of cleanliness.
Get the guys name on the new years honours list.
He deserves it. Don’t forget that he has a family back home and so his wife and kids must be very patient.

  3. I think that the programme should have an extra name to it called Gordon Ramsey’s
kitchen nightmares intermediary, as he seems to be helping the staff to get over their fighting and disagreements.

  4. Gordon Ramsey is a genius and should be knighted for all the great work he is promoting.I’d love to meet this hero of mine and shake his hand 👍🏻🆒

  5. I love what Chef Ramsey does. He is brilliant at what he does. He cares about the people happiness. He give them excellent advice. He deserves to be better recognized for what he does. He has a heart for what he does. I love all his shows.
