Question: Who Pays For The Renovations on Kitchen Nightmares?

If you’ve watched Kitchen Nightmares, I’m sure you’ve noticed that sometimes Gordon Ramsay does a ton of work on the restaurants featured on the show. I’m talking about new expensive point of sale systems, new tables, new ovens and stuff. All of that adds up to a hefty price tag sometimes.

So who’s actually opening up their checkbook to cover this? Is Gordon Ramsay paying? Or is the restaurant owner paying? The answer is neither!

So who pays for the renovations on Kitchen Nightmares?

All of the renovation expenses are paid by the Kitchen Nightmares production team. According to Lindsay Kugler, one of the executive producers on the show, “Kitchen Nightmares’ mission is to help participating restaurants get back on their feet. All of Gordon Ramsay’s advice to restaurant owners is provided free of charge and the restaurant renovations are paid for by the series.”

So there you have it – restaurant owners don’t need to pay anything for Gordon’s advice or for the renovations.

Remember – we keep track of how Gordon’s advice and renovations paid off for all of the restaurants featured on Kitchen Nightmares.

  1. Although Jamie Oliver is the wealthiest chef in the world, the work that Gordon Ramsay does should qualify him for an OBE
He would certainly get my vote.
He can turn what most people think is a complex dish, achievable to cooks/chefs all over the world.

Get the guys name on the new years honours list.
He deserves it. Don’t forget that he has a family back home and so his wife and kids must be very patient.
