If you’ve watched Kitchen Nightmares, I’m sure you’ve noticed that sometimes Gordon Ramsey does a ton of work on the restaurants featured on the show. I’m talking about new expensive point of sale systems, new tables, new ovens and stuff. All of that adds up to a hefty price tag sometimes.
So who’s actually opening up their checkbook to cover this? Is Gordon Ramsey paying? Or is the restaurant owner paying? The answer is neither!
So who pays for the renovations on Kitchen Nightmares?
All of the renovation expenses are paid by the Kitchen Nightmares production team. According to Lindsay Kugler, one of the executive producers on the show, “Kitchen Nightmares’ mission is to help participating restaurants get back on their feet. All of Gordon Ramsay’s advice to restaurant owners is provided free of charge and the restaurant renovations are paid for by the series.”
So there you have it – restaurant owners don’t need to pay anything for Gordon’s advice or for the renovations.
Remember – we keep track of how Gordon’s advice and renovations paid off for all of the restaurants featured on Kitchen Nightmares.
