Episode Recap
One11 Boca Raton, later renamed to Boca Luna Luxe Lounge, was a Boca Raton Florida bar that was featured on Season 9 of Bar Rescue.
Though the Boca Luna Bar Rescue episode aired in May 2024, the actual filming and visit from Jon Taffer took place around February 2024.
It was Season 9 Episode 11 and the episode name was “Boca Re-Tune”.
In this episode, Jon Taffer seems to be back in action as he heads to One11 Boca, located in Boca Raton, Florida.
If you’re not familiar with Florida’s geography, Boca Raton is located on the southeastern coast of the state, just to the north of Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
At the time that the episode aired, this marked Bar Rescue’s 29th visit to Florida, which is one of the most popular states on the show.
One11 is owned by Jay Joseph, who has a lot of experience in the music industry.
However, Jay’s success in the music industry doesn’t appear to be translating to the bar/club business, as One11 Boca is struggling at the time that Taffer and his crew come into town.
When Taffer is recon’ing the bar, he takes issue with the layout, which Jay personally designed.
Jon knows bar science, and the bar has no flow.
I mean – how the heck is a bar supposed to be successful if it doesn’t have a single butt funnel?
Ideally, you want at least a double or triple butt funnel.
Jon calls it “terrible” and “one of the worst layouts he’s ever seen”.
To recon the bar, Jon Taffer sends in Amelia De Vita, a radio personality who also reviews restaurants, along with her friend Sarah.
Here’s a link to Amelia’s Instagram page if you want to check out her content, including her restaurant reviews.
Amelia is from Australia, but lives in Boca Raton and is familiar with the area.
Things don’t start off well, as the ladies don’t even want to put their purses down because it’s dirty.
When they order their food, the kitchen is already behind because they’ve been having issues with the oven and fryer.
Because I’m writing this a day before the episode airs, that’s all the information that I have on the episode so far. I might update this later after it airs.
However, I do know about the new concept at the bar.
As part of the renovations, Jon Taffer changed the name from One11 Boca Raton to Boca Luna Luxe Lounge.
The “Luxe Lounge” is a new one for the show. I’m honestly surprised that Jon didn’t call it the “Boca Luna Ultra Lounge”, as he usually loves going with the Ultra Lounge concept.
So – was the One11 Boca Raton rescue a long-term success?
Keep reading to learn what happened next and if this Boca Raton club is still open in 2024.
Boca Luna Luxe Lounge Update - What Happened Next?
Now that we’ve recapped the One11 Boca Bar Rescue renovations, let’s talk about what happened to the bar after Jon Taffer and his crew left Boca Raton, Florida.
I’ll start by talking about whether the bar is still open and using Taffer’s concept.
Then, I’ll look at some of the events going on at the bar, to give you an idea of how it’s doing.
I’ll also cover some real customer reviews from after the rescue so that you can see what customers think of the new concept.
But first, let’s quickly talk about the bar’s reaction to the episode, as I always like to see whether or not they enjoyed the Bar Rescue experience.
The bar’s reaction to the episode
To start, I’m not 100% sure whether the bar hosted a watch party or not.
The bar didn’t promote anything about a watch party, but Jay did seem to suggest that there would be a “live showing” on his personal Facebook page.
In fact, Jay posted about the episode multiple times on his personal Facebook page (where he also just generally posts a lot about the club).
Here’s a post where he actually provides some detail about what to expect, including mentioning the live showing:
OPPS I did it again!
Always cooking up something.
Yes I’m on the show doing my thing.
How’s my acting lol.
Remember it’s only tv 📺
This Sunday Boca Luna Luxe Lounge live showing.
Hope to see you all there.
Jay also posted some behind-the-scenes pictures from the Bar Rescue visit back in February.
Is Boca Luna Luxe Lounge still open after Bar Rescue?
As of my most recent check in 2024, Boca Luna Luxe Lounge seems to still be open and serving customers in Boca Raton.
What’s more, the bar seems to be sticking with Taffer’s Boca Luna Luxe Lounge concept.
With that being said, they do seem to have not updated all of their social media profiles.
For example, the bar actively posts on both the Boca Luna and One11 Boca Facebook pages.
The Instagram page also lists it as “ONE11 • BOCA LUNA LUXE LOUNGE”.
But in general, they seem to have completely adopted the new concept.
The club is very active on both its Facebook and Instagram pages, regularly posting about events and promotions.
They seem to have all of the events that you’d expect from a South Florida club.
For example, they have a Latin Night every Friday, which includes a DJ.
They also have themed parties, such as this Euro Party in April.
They also have some unique stuff that you won’t find at every club.
For example, they had an art exhibition in April 2024.
They also hosted an official launch for the club in March, which I think is a smart thing to do.
I don’t know why some bars don’t promote their rebrand more.
There’s also an official website for the club that they’ve updated with the new concept.
Personally, I think the website design could be a bit better.
However, given that a lot of the bars from the show don’t even bother with creating a website at all, I’m not going to complain.
Here’s a picture of the Boca Luna menu, to give you an idea of prices.
You can also find the menu on the website here.
Lastly, here’s what the Boca Luna location looks like in the most recent picture from Google Maps street view.
As I’m writing this, the picture hasn’t been updated since May 2022, so it still shows the One11 Boca branding.
I’m mainly including it so that you can explore the area around the club.
Boca Luna reviews after Bar Rescue
Unfortunately, there haven’t been a ton of reviews for the new Boca Luna Luxe Lounge concept, so it’s hard for me to tell whether or not customers are digging the new club.
I don’t see any Yelp reviews and there are just a few Google reviews that have been written since the changes.
On Google, the club has a 4.4 star rating on 117+ reviews overall.
However, the vast majority of those reviews are older and written when it was still One11 Boca Raton.
With that being said, most of the reviews that do exist seem to be positive.
All of them are four or five stars and I didn’t see any negative reviews that were written after the episode.
Let’s take a look at some of the post-rescue reviews that I was able to find…
Two 5 star Google reviews from April/May 2024:
4 star review from April 2024:

Based on the owner’s response, this one might have been written right before the rescue – I’m not 100% sure.
Final thoughts on the episode
Overall, the bar seems to be sticking with Taffer’s new Boca Luna concept for now.
While they do still have a Facebook page with the One11 Boca name (as well as a new one for the new name), all of the branding and promotional content seems to refer to the club as Boca Luna Luxe Lounge.
While there haven’t been a ton of reviews yet, the reviews that do exist seem to generally be positive.
That wraps up my Boca Luna Luxe Lounge Bar Rescue update.

Heavy promotion for the paint. They must have donated for multiple rescues. Reminds me of the Zip Recruiter plug last season.
This looks like it isn’t that far from Heat/Ele and Mystique/Aura which were similar in character only I suspect Boca is more elderly. I expect the same long-term outcome with this one. All 3 look like a warehouse that someone built a bar/nightclub in.
Production seems to love Florida. They went back to Boca/Port St. Lucie/Margate/Pompano Beach a 3-4 months after leaving the Jacksonville area which is only a few hours up the Atlantic coast.
