Great news, Bar Rescue fans!
Though I knew that Jon Taffer was filming new Bar Rescue episodes for Season 9 for a long time now (he’d been seen filming around in late 2023), we didn’t have any idea about the Season 9 release date.
In early February, Paramount announced the official Bar Rescue Season 9 release date – the first episode will air on February 25, 2024.
The first episode will see Jon Taffer visiting Skip and Jan’s bar in Gilbert, Arizona.
The episode name will be “Deadliest Kitchen”, which seems like a spicy topic.
Overall, Bar Rescue Season 9 will feature Jon Taffer visiting bars all around the United States, including the following states:
- Arizona
- California
- Florida
- Texas
- Michigan
- Missouri
- Wisconsin
Those are all places he’s visited previously, with California being the most popular state on the show.
Arizona, Texas, and Florida are also very popular places for Jon Taffer to visit.
As always, Jon Taffer will also have plenty of help from experts and friends.
So far, here are some of the guests that have been confirmed for Season 9:
- Danny Trejo – a well-known actor who also has his own restaurants and bars including Trejo’s Cantina, Trejo’s Tacos, and Trejo’s Coffee and Donuts.
- Ashish Alfred – from the Alfred Restaurant Group
- Phil Wills – a Bar Rescue regular from Spirits in Motion.
- Dustin Drai – from Drai’s Las Vegas.

That’s it for this post!
As always, I will have updates for the bars on the day that the episode airs.
You can find all of these updates on the main Bar Rescue updates page.
So – come back here on February 25th to learn what happened to Skip and Jan’s after Taffer’s visit.
And then keep coming back every Sunday for the rest of Season 9.
I hope to see you back here soon!
Phil isn’t Jon.
