Episode Recap
Game Room and Social Club, later renamed to The Cask: A Whiskey Bar, was an Orlando, Florida bar that was featured on Season 10 of Bar Rescue.
Though the The Cask Bar Rescue episode aired in March 2026, the actual filming and visit from Bar Rescue took place before that in April 2025.
It was Season 10 Episode 3 and the episode name was “When Dreams Hit the Sidewalk”.
In this episode, Bar Rescue is back in Florida, which is one of the most visited states from the show.
Most importantly, Jon Taffer is there in person again handling the rescue, which is great to see.

This rescue marks the 36th time that Bar Rescue has rescued a bar in Florida.
At the time that the episode aired on TV, the only state with more visits from the show is California, which has had 54 visits so far.
More specifically, Jon Taffer and his crew are in Orlando, FL.
While Bar Rescue has spent a lot of time in the state, this is the first time that they’ve actually rescued a bar in Orlando proper (though they did rescue The Copper Rocket in nearby Maitland FL).
This time, Taffer and his experts are rescuing a bar named Game Room & Social Club.
As the name suggests, the bar includes some board games and other elements as part of its concept.
However, the game selection is very limited, which seems like a miss given the bar’s concept.
The bar is owned by a company named Garito and Co, which also owns another Orlando bar named Sly Fox that’s just a couple doors down on the same street as Game Room & Social Club.
To recon the bar, Jon Taffer sends in two spies, including Dr. Michael Anis.
The two order a vodka cranberry and an Old Fashioned.
While watching the recon, Taffer wonders how a doctor of internal medicine feels about the dirty bar taps and food held at an unsafe temperature.
When the two get their drinks, they aren’t a fan of them and find them to be watered down.
After the drinks, they order some food – mozzarella sticks and a chicken wrap for Dr. Anis, along with jalapeno poppers and chicken tenders.
While watching the chef prepare the food, they notice unsanitary standards, such as touching raw chicken and then touching other parts of the kitchen.
The chef is tenderizing raw chicken right by other food items.
He also uses the same knife for cutting both the raw chicken and the cooked chicken, which is super gross and a huge food safety issue.
After watching the issue in the kitchen, Taffer storms in to SHUT IT DOWN so that his spies don’t eat the potentially contaminated food.
Because I always write these updates a day before the episode airs on TV, I don’t have any more information to add to the episode recap yet.
However, my research was able to discover details about the new concept that Bar Rescue put in.
As part of the renovations, Jon Taffer changed the bar’s name from Game Room and Social Club to The Cask: A Whiskey Bar.
So – was the Game Room Bar Rescue visit a long-term success?
Keep reading my update to learn what happened next and if this Orlando, FL bar is still open in 2026 and beyond.
The Cask Update - What Happened Next?
Now that I’ve recapped the episode as much as possible, let’s talk about how the bar is doing after Jon Taffer and his crew left Orlando.
I’ll start by looking at whether or not The Cask is still open and using the concept from the show.
Then, I’ll take a look at real customer reviews from after the rescue to give you an idea of how people are liking the changes.
Along the way, I’ll also share any other interesting information that I’m able to dig up.
Let’s get into it…
Is The Cask still open after Bar Rescue?
As of my most recent check, The Cask is still open and serving customers in Orlando FL.
More importantly, the bar seems to have kept the new The Cask: A Whiskey concept from the show, though some parts of its online presence do still use the Game Room name in some places.
For example, the bar’s official website is still gameroomorlando.com, even though all of the content on the website uses the new The Cask concept.
Guys – you can just buy a new domain name and redirect the old one to the new one!
The Facebook page and Google Business listing also still use the Game Room & Social Club Orlando name, despite all of the content referring to the bar as The Cask.
Basically, I think the bar is using the new The Cask name – they just haven’t been great at updating their online presence to reflect that.
The bar is generally quite active on its social media profiles, posting about lots of events and specials.
This includes lots of sports-related specials, as you can see in the screenshot above.
Here’s a link to the full The Cask menu to give you an idea of what they offer.
I also took a screenshot of part of the menu so that you can get an idea of the food and prices:
Here’s what The Cask’s location in Orlando FL looks like in the most recent picture from Google Maps street view.
It’s from January 2026, so it already includes images of the new The Cask concept.
The Cask reviews after Bar Rescue
Next, let’s take a look at some reviews of the bar from after Taffer’s rescue.
As I mentioned above, the bar seems to still be using the old Game Room & Social Club name on its business profiles, despite keeping The Cask as a concept.
As always, I try to exclusively look at reviews that were written after Taffer’s visit.
Overall, the bar has a 4.4 star rating on 58+ Google reviews, but that number includes ratings from both before and after Taffer’s visit.
When only looking at reviews from after April 2025, I would say that they’re mostly positive, but with a few negative reviews mixed in.
Some people seem to praise the service, while others criticize it, so I’m not sure where the truth lies.
I guess there’s always a little bit of inconsistency in these things.
Final thoughts on the episode
Overall, The Cask seems to be doing well so far.
The bar has kept the new The Cask: A Whiskey bar concept that Taffer put in.
They also seem to have plenty of events going on, with mostly positive reviews.
If anything changes, I will be sure to update this post.
That wraps up my The Cask Bar Rescue update.

As of August 2025 which was a few months after the rescue, the outside of the bar still had “The Cask” on the windows.
Yeah it seems like they just haven’t been great at updating their online presence. As far as I can tell, they are still using the “The Cask” name.
Pause it when they show the “finishing kitchen” at the end. The table has dents in it, and it’s obvious that the pizza oven is used. Did they get this at a pawn shop, or did they just move it from the other kitchen? Plus it appears to be out in the open where people can see them “finishing” their food.
No way they kept this, lol.
