Episode Recap
Happenchance Social Lounge, later renamed to The Regal Room, was a Nolensville, Tennessee bar that was featured on Season 10 of Bar Rescue.
Though the Regal Room Bar Rescue episode aired in March 2026, the actual filming and visit from Bar Rescue took place before that around July 2025.
It was Season 10 Episode 6 and the episode name was “Don’t Leave it to Happenchance”.
In this episode, Jon Taffer and the Bar Rescue crew are back in the state of Tennessee for the second time this season and the ninth time overall.
This episode has a very special guest to help rescue the bar – NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick.
Remember NSYNC? Yeah, they’re relevant again.
This time, Taffer is in Nolensville, a town of about 13,000 that’s around 22 miles to the southeast of Nashville.
According to Taffer, the income level in Nolensville is twice the national average, with a 20% higher median age than the national average.
That’s just bar science, baby.
Jon Taffer and Chris are in town to rescue a bar named Happenchance Social Lounge.
To fit with the area’s more upscale demographics, the bar is a more upscale wine bar…or at least that’s what it’s supposed to be.
Obviously, since Happenchance Social Lounge is making an appearance on Bar Rescue, they probably aren’t quite nailing the “upscale” part of the equation.
While watching footage from the recon area, Taffer and Chris find some incongruities.
For example, despite attempting to be an upscale wine bar, the interior features some pretty raw graffiti on the walls.
They don’t think that fits with the concept, and I have to be honest that I agree with them.
Like, the graffiti is literally dripping down the walls. It looks bad and is very weird for the concept.
There’s also a weird “Cock-tails” graffiti sign, which definitely doesn’t fit with the vibe.
The Happenchance Social Lounge owners are Dylan and Amanda, a husband and wife duo.
Amanda was a defense attorney, while Dylan didn’t seem to have a lot going on.
To give them something to do, the couple stuck $250,000 into opening Happenchance Social Lounge.
Then, they borrowed another $250,000 from Amanda’s parents.
With $500,000 invested and half of that coming from their parents, the couple is obviously on the brink if the bar fails.
Because I always write these recaps the day before the episode airs on TV, I don’t have any more detailed recap information to share yet.
However, my research has turned up the new concept that Taffer and his experts put in.
As part of the renovations, Jon Taffer changed the bar’s name from Happenchance Social Lounge to The Regal Room.
To be honest, I don’t love either name, but I will say that the new name definitely seems more upmarket.
Based on the images I’ve seen, the renovated bar looks a lot nicer, with a much more upscale feeling and some nice nooks for people to hang out in.
So – was the Happenchance Bar Rescue visit a long-term success?
Keep reading my update to learn what happened next and if this Nolensville, TN bar is still open in 2026 and beyond.
The Regal Room Update - What Happened Next?
Now that I’ve recapped the episode as much as possible, let’s talk about what happened to the bar after Jon Taffer and NSYNC left Nolensville.
I’ll start by talking about whether or not the Regal Room is still open and using the concept from Jon Taffer.
Then, I’ll look at some real customer reviews from before and after the renovation to give you an idea of how customers feel about the changes.
Along the way, I’ll share any other interesting details that I’m able to turn up.
Let’s get into it…
Is The Regal Room still open after Bar Rescue?
As of my most recent check, The Regal Room is still open and serving customers in Nolensville, TN.
More importantly, they seem to have kept the new Regal Room concept from Jon Taffer, though they do still reference the older Happenchance Social Lounge name in some places.
For example, the bar’s official website title calls it “The Regal Room by Happenchance Social”.
I think this makes some sense, as they probably want to make sure that existing customers know that it’s functionally the same business.
The bar’s social media profiles also reference both names:
Born from the spirit of Happenchance Social, The Regal Room is a reimagined space for slow sips, shared stories, and crafted moments.
The bar is quite active on its social media profiles, regularly posting about events and specials.
To start, they seem to have live music events pretty regularly.
They also have lots of specials relating to wine and cocktails, which makes sense given the bar’s concept.
They also have related themed nights sometimes, such as a Sinatra night around the time that the episode aired.
As I mentioned earlier, there’s also an official The Regal Room website in addition to the bar’s social media presence.
Here’s a direct link to the Regal Room menu. I’ve also included a screenshot of the food menu below so that you can get an idea of the prices and offerings:
Note – the bar seems to have updated its menu around the time that the episode premiered on TV, so I think the menu is longer now.
Here’s what the Regal Room location looks like in the most recent picture from Google Maps street view…
It hasn’t been updated since February 2023, so you can’t really see the bar’s branding.
I’m mainly just including it so that you can explore the area around The Regal Room.
The Regal Room reviews after Bar Rescue
Next, let’s take a look at some real customer reviews for the bar.
As always, I try to focus exclusively on reviews that were written after the rescue.
This lets us see how customers are feeling about the new name, menu, and systems that Taffer puts in place.
Overall, the bar’s ratings are actually quite good.
It has a 4.9-star rating on over 543 Google reviews and a 4.6-star rating on over 65 Yelp reviews.
Both of those numbers include ratings from both before and after the rescue.
When exclusively looking at reviews written after the rescue, they also seem to be very positive.
People seem to uniformly praise the staff and atmosphere.
The Regal Room owners are also pretty active in terms of responding to reviews.
Final thoughts on the episode
Overall, The Regal Room seems to be doing quite well after its rescue.
The bar has kept the new concept from Jon Taffer and is active with events and specials.
Reviews for the bar are also quite good.
It has one of the better ratings that I’ve seen of any bar on the show (though its ratings were also pretty good before Taffer’s visit, to be fair).
If anything changes in the future, I will be sure to update this post.
That wraps up my Regal Room Bar Rescue update.

Jon is really doubling down on demanding that the owners own failure, and here he again informs the owner that their brand has failed and that he’s changing it.
Don’t any of these owners review episodes before agreeing to be on the show? It’s extremely common for Jon to change the name.
Happenchance was a dumb name anyway. I’m familiar with the word “happenstance” but had to look up “happenchance” to learn that it is actually a word. Regal Room is also silly.
If it was me changing it, I’d call it “Serendipity.” This is a better word for how the owners met each other, and it gives the client the sense that they may have stumbled upon the bar by accident, but it’s a happy accident because the food and drinks are awesome. In this way, Jon could have kept the owners quasi-happy by relating it back to their relationship while still changing the brand so that new customers would be intrigued by a new business.
Candidly (to use a word Jon loves), he is returning to vintage Taffer this season. He must be more energized by the Zepbound.
Lauren Rhodes looking good in the tank top.
He put up a sign that reads “Nice Ass” to replace the Cocktails sign.
Always rooting for the bars that take the Bar Rescue experience and turn it into something great.
The Regal Room seems to be doing just that, and even giving back to the community, which is awesome to see.
